Homebrewing For Beginners - eBook Guide To Getting Started Homebrewing

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been putting together beginners guide to homebrewing. It’s the ebook that I wish I had when I was first getting into making my own beer. Homebrewing For Beginners is a simple, to the point guide to making beer for the first time, written in plain English with only the information that a new brewer will need to get started.

Homebrewing For Beginners is a compilation of some of the best, most useful posts from the past year and a whole lot of other writing, to make sure that a new homebrewer gets all of the right equipment and makes it through the first brewing day without a nervous breakdown caused by information overload.

I would like to share a couple of copies of this ebook before it goes on sale, as a way to say thank you to everyone that’s been checking out this blog for the past year and to get some early feedback about it.

If you’re interested in a copy, let me know why you’d like a copy in the comments below. Two people will be chosen at random to receive a free copy of the ebook before anyone else can get it. Winners will be selected Friday, Feb 3rd at noon EST, (so make sure you have your entry in before then) and will have a copy emailed to them shortly after that.

Stay tuned to Facebook and Twitter for more details about the Homebrewing For Beginners project.

Mike

I'm a former coffee blogger, but I’ve been getting to know some really good craft beers and really getting into home brewing. I couldn’t resist starting this little project called Passion For The Pint. When I’m not blogging about coffee or beer, you can find me exploring New Orleans’ wide range of eateries, rooting for the New York Yankees (don’t hate me, I’m originally from New York), working out to burn off the beer calories or reading about beer.

  1. I have just got into the game and would love a copy. I know I am not the best brewer but with your help I got my first belgian style brew off and running.

      • Addiction is not a strong enough word.  I also started out with a Mr. Beer.  It helps to ease you into the hobby.  The equipment also has the potential to make decent beer when you don’t use the “Mr. Beer” ingredient kits.

Mike, I was brought here by reddit.com/r/homebrewing.

  2. I have a brewing kit that “Santa” brought for me, but I still have not made the leap yet. I don’t know anyone who brews so I’m on my own. I’m sure I can figure it out, but a book by someone who knows the pitfalls would be helpful.

I found my way here from G+, thought you may like to know .

  3. I have just ordered my first piece of brewing equipment (9 gallon kettle for full boils) and I could always use more reading material. I’ve been reading everything I could get my hands on and researching everything obsessively. I’ll be being my first batch in a few days with my homebrew club and I always look for new routes of information and an e copy would be great.
    Cheers.

  4. I have absolutely no experience in home brewing but I’m buying a kit this coming Friday (payday).  Real excited

  5. I’d like a copy to bring to my University’s Brewclub. We are working on putting together a podcast, and we might discuss it on the show.

      • Hey Mike, sorry for not replying. I had thought I would receive an email about it, but I don’t think I clicked the subscribe button. The Brewcast, as we’re calling it, is going to be mostly about what to do with your homebrew. Some episodes will be about techniques, and others will be about how to taste (spotting off flavours and how to correct them) as well as cooking with beer and pairing food with beer.

  6. I too am brand new to brewing, as my first batch is newly bottled and going its last few weeks.  I’d love to win information!

  7. Just started my first batch a couple of days ago and I’m really looking into getting more involved in homebrewing. Thanks for your time!

  8. I’d love a copy.  I’m waiting to start reading your emails.  The  book would be a great b’day present.. for Feb 4 🙂

  9. OBTW, I’m making the doggie biscuits right now.  A different recipe I got from a friend.. yours has more grain.  Heating the oven as I type 😀
